Champetre County is located in the Saskatchewan countryside only 30 minutes east of Saskatoon. On Mother’s Day, Champetre County elevated family fun activities to a high level by bringing the country ranch experience to mothers and families. The weather was perfect, and it was a great day to spend outdoors exploring the ranch for families! Each mom was treated to a horse-drawn carriage ride with a story to tell by the Sheriff who greeted each one of our guests at the Bishop Cabin meeting spot.
The day was filled with fun for the whole family, the friendly animal barn was a huge hit, as the newest addition of our baby bunnies was seen through the eyes of kids. Flo and Fifi, our guard dogs, greeted each guest at the time of arrival and guests were pleased by how friendly they are. From feeding the goats treats, petting the lambs, and watching the pigs run around their pen, the children had such a fun time. The lost corral maze was explored by so many including pet dogs and many cats. The laughs and smiles heard across the county were infectious and Champetre County staff were overjoyed.
As our guests arrived, Ashley greeted each one with a welcoming smile, and a story to tell, and then welcomed them into the General Store to get their mimosa, beer margarita, or a Root Beer Float. Families were seen spending the whole day at the county, making memories that will last a lifetime.
From everyone in Champetre County, we would like to send out a huge thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy a day at Champetre County! We are overjoyed that we were able to make this Mother’s Day one to remember.
