A little bit about us...
Champêtre (pronounced sham-pate county ) is having to do with the country side,
nature, outdoors, and the literal translation is “to be in the field”.
Champêtre County, established in 1995 by Arthur and Thérèse Denis, is currently managed by their daughter, Francine Edmondson. This vacation farm, ranch house, and event facility, offers guests a taste of the open Saskatchewan Prairies, a country farm lifestyle, all in a western era setting. Following in the family footsteps of the founders, Francine likes to introduce visitors to the Saskatchewan Prairies, a place she calls home.
Champetre County offers cottage style accommodation, camping space, events, concerts, and meals prepared with local ingredients, all served with tons of family hospitality that we are well known for. Champetre County is open year round so you can see the beautiful starkness of the winter prairies, and the warm, sunny summers that we all enjoy.

while learning about Saskatchewan and the prairies in a unique way.
